Hi guys, do you find these little monsters in the poster cute? This series of work is inspired by the film Monsters, Inc. They are all made of wool with needle felting techniques. This is a needle felting workshop for beginners. ALL TOOLS ARE PREPARED! In this workshop, you will learn the technique and knowledge of needle felting and you can create your own monster doll. Needle felting is a craft that involves repeatedly putting a barbed needle into a piece of wool in order to stiffen and shape it into the desired form. You can let your imagination run wild and create any sweet, cute or bizarre objects! Get yourself wrapped up in the world of felt by discovering how to sculpt in a simple way and obtain results in a short time by starting with a round felted ball! Artist Anita will introduce the basic knowledge of felting tools, different wool and techniques and demonstrate how to create a little monster in details. After you acquire these techniques, you can create your own little dolls! EXTRA BONUS: You can add a keyring to the doll or make it as a brooch! (materials are provided). After this workshop, you can bring all the dolls you create home. Artist Brief Intro: Anita Gao, founder of PawBaba, an alumna of University of Edinburgh. PawBaba is a brand that focuses on creating felted animals for all animal lovers. Her custom felted works have been sold to all over the world.
