During the two-hour session, Our artist will introduce you to this fascinating art and guide you how to create your own collage poster with different materials such as old magazines, paper scraps and fabric scraps. Get inspired by this technique and express yourself through paper! Artist Intro: Hello, my name is Yuan Yi, or you can also call me Cynthia. I am originally from China and I am currently studying Fashion Design at the Glasgow School of Art.With 3 years of experience in the field, I have found collages to be an effective tool for generating inspiration. I find collages to be a user-friendly and quick way to bring my ideas to life. As a fashion designer, I find that my own personal experiences serve as a fertile ground for inspiration. In addition, my strong commitment to promoting women's rights and human rights often shapes my creative vision. I strive to create pieces that embody the emotions and experiences of those around me. By using fashion as a tool for storytelling and self-expression, I aim to bring attention to important social and political issues and to inspire change through my work. I believe that creativity can be used to express the love in our hearts, so let's do that! -Time: 25th, Sep,2023 at 6pm -Duration: 2 hours -Locations: QMU Cafe, 22 University Gardens, Glasgow G12 8QN
