This special market is proudly organised by HelloArt in collaboration with the Confucius Institute Aberdeen to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. It marks the first-ever Asian-themed market in Aberdeen, bringing together art, food, and cultural experiences for everyone to enjoy. Our market is open to everyone — we warmly welcome not only Asian artists but also local vendors to join us! Stall Types Available: 1. Artwork Stall £30: Showcase and sell your original artworks and handcrafted items. 2. Workshop Stall £30: Deliver interactive, hands-on cultural experiences that invite community participation. Suggested workshops include lacquered fan making, face painting, Hanfu experience, and other creative, educational activities. 3. Pre-Made Food Stall (No Electricity Required) £40: Share the rich and diverse flavours of Asia and local cuisine through ready-to-eat treats such as baked goods, bottled jams, candies, and other non-heated delicacies. 4. Warm Food Stall (Requires Electricity) £55: Serve freshly prepared hot dishes that bring comfort and authenticity to the market.
